Blog 2: Why did you choose to study this career?

 Hi everyone! I hope you are fine. 

I come back to talk about why I decided to study to be a biology and chemistry teacher. 

When I was child I had various dream jobs because I was interested in so many things. I wanted to be a ballet dancer, I liked art, I studied English for one year, I played basketball, I did a cooking workshop and scientist workshop in the school. I really had no idea what I would finally do in my life.

Then, when I was 17 and in secondary school I was not sure what I wanted to do with my future, but I knew that I wanted to work with other people. I had other options about careers like doing a bachelor’s in biology, obstetric, biotechnology engineering, but I prefer pedagogy in science because in this career I can be a teacher and share my knowledge with other people and I can practice science at the same time. This is my perfect career.

Until now the career has been so difficult because two first years had a pandemic and I had only online classes and I lost so many laboratories in my science class. I felt so bad in those years and thought about leaving my career. When the pandemic finally ended and I went to university I had a better experience and enjoyed my career. 

My career is not just pedagogy, it is also science so I want to teach other people, but also I want to investigate microbiology.
